Wicomico has gone 9-1 against Pocomoke recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. Wicomico knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Pocomoke likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Wicomico blew past Crisfield, posting a 68-40 victory. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Meanwhile, Pocomoke came up short against Decatur on Tuesday and fell 70-62. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Wicomico will need focus on slowing down LAMARQUIS DOUGLAS, one of several Pocomoke players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. DOUGLAS is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was JAMIR ROBERTS, who posted 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Even though they lost, Pocomoke smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in eight consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Pocomoke's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wicomico, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Wicomico beat Pocomoke 82-74 in their previous matchup back in February. Does Wicomico have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pocomoke turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
