Football Recap: Baldwinsville Takes a Loss

Baldwinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rome Free Academy Black Knights. The Bees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Baldwinsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rome Free Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Baldwinsville will square off against rival Christian Brothers Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Rome Free Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Cicero-North Syracuse at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
