Basketball Recap: McCluer South-Berkeley Takes a Loss

McCluer South-Berkeley played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 64-39 to the St. Pius X Lancers.

Despite the loss, McCluer South-Berkeley still got an impressive performance from Dylan Merkle, who posted 16 points. Lamar Mccoy was another key player, putting up four points.

McCluer South-Berkeley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for St. Pius X, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

McCluer South-Berkeley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-49 victory against Gateway Science Academy on the 20th. St. Pius X will take on Waynesville in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
