Softball Recap: Dundee Comes Up Short

Bedford hit Dundee with a 12-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 18-5 to the Kicking Mules.

Natalie Rath was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Lydia Homrich, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Dundee now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bedford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2-1.

Looking ahead, Dundee will head out on the road to face off against Glenn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bedford, they will welcome Dexter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
