Volleyball Recap: McCutcheon Mavericks vs. Harrison Raiders
If McCutcheon was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Western Boone on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mavericks fell just short of the Harrison Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While the Mavericks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Raiders 25-21 in the first set.
McCutcheon wouldn't go down easily and took Harrison into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 15-12.
