Volleyball Recap: Palmerton Takes a Loss

If Palmerton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Catasauqua on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Bombers fell just short of the Pen Argyl Green Knights by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Bombers in their meetings with the Green Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

Palmerton started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 13-25, 24-26, 27-25, 25-12, 15-13.

Palmerton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Palmerton is taking a road trip to challenge Stroudsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pen Argyl, they will square off against Saucon Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
