University new leader in small school national computer rankings.
The updated MaxPreps Small School National Rankings find a new team in the No. 1 spot.
University (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) moves past Curtis (River Ridge, La.) in the computerized rankings and is one of three Florida schools in the top six.
However the biggest mover is Bassfield (Miss.), which joins the rankings for the first time at the No. 4 spot with a 9-0 record.
Texas has the most schools in the top 25 with five while Florida has four.
Small schools are considered by MaxPreps to be any schools that play in a
state classification where the majority of the schools in the division
are less than 1,000 students.
At 6-0, University holds a healthy lead over Curtis in the Small School National Rankings.
