Soccer Recap: Hempstead Comes Up Short

Hempstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Sealy Tigers, falling 9-1. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Hempstead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Sealy, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hempstead will square off against Navasota at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Navasota knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Hempstead likes a good challenge. As for Sealy, they will face off against Harmony School of Innovation at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harmony School of Innovation's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
