Volleyball Game Preview: Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle vs. Logan Grizzlies

After both having extra time off, the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle and the Logan Grizzlies will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Logan is headed out to face a Soaring Eagle squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Juan Diego Catholic lost 3-0 to Union on Wednesday. The Soaring Eagle haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Juan Diego Catholic was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Union's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Logan had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Jordan on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Juan Diego Catholic came out on top in a nail-biter against Logan in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Soaring Eagle repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
