Softball Preview: East Robertson Indians vs. Lebanon Blue Devils

The East Robertson Indians will take on the Lebanon Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games East Robertson has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, East Robertson didn't have quite enough to beat Station Camp and fell 11-10.

Lily Dunbar was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Gregory, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Lebanon came up short against Beech on Friday and fell 17-14. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Even though they lost, Lebanon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. This was only their first loss (out of four games) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

East Robertson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lebanon, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
