Basketball Game Preview: Dixie Flyers vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks

Having just played yesterday, the Dixie Flyers will jump right back in to play the Ridgeline Riverhawks at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Dixie sitting on four straight victories and Ridgeline on 48 (dating back to last season).

Dixie is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Provo 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Flyers have posted since January 7th.

Meanwhile, Ridgeline faced Cedar in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Ridgeline was the clear victors by a 52-32 margin over Cedar. The Riverhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Ridgeline, their win bumped their record up to 26-0.

Dixie took a serious blow against Ridgeline when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 66-22. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ridgeline's Emilee Skinner, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten boards.
