St. Pius X saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 61-50 to Manzano.

St. Pius X will have to keep a close watch on Nathan Gonzales and Marcus Montoya, a pair of players who had a big impact on Robertson's prior game. Gonzales dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds, while Montoya shot 56% from the field on his way to 12 points and three steals. St. Pius X was able to grind out a solid win over Robertson in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 51-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sartans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
