Football Recap: North Davidson Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

North Davidson took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-7 victory over the West Stokes Wildcats.

Dominik Stamatien was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 147 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards. Colte Fischer was another key player, picking up 90 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

North Davidson has already played their next match, a 17-14 win against Lexington Senior on the 29th. As for West Stokes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 49-0 victory against South Stokes on the 29th.
