Soccer Game Preview: Royal vs. Kiona-Benton

The Royal Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Kiona-Benton Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Royal's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past College Place 1-0. Royal haven't had any issues with College Place recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Kiona-Benton fell victim to Wahluke and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 8-0.

Royal's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Kiona-Benton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything went Royal's way against Kiona-Benton in their previous meeting on October 2nd, as Royal made off with a 13-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
