Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastlake). They put the hurt on the Jackson Timberwolves with a sharp 14-0 victory on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won six contests in a row.

Eastlake's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Jayden Matsuoka was another, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Eastlake pushed their record up to 20-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Jackson, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

As of now, neither Eastlake nor the Timberwolves have any future games scheduled.
