Basketball Recap: King City Comes Up Short

King City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Greenfield Bruins, falling 83-44. The Mustangs were probably out for revenge after losing 67-28 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

King City's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Greenfield, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

King City has already played their next matchup, a 71-33 defeat against St. Francis on the 28th. As for Greenfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-73 loss against North Salinas on the 28th.
