Baseball Recap: Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool Triumphs

After losing to NELA Christian Homeschool the last time they met, Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool walked away with a 5-1 victory over NELA Christian Homeschool on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool.

The team relied heavily on Duff Nichols, who scored two runs and stole three bases. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Johnson, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for NELA Christian Homeschool, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool will host Good Samaritan HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for NELA Christian Homeschool, they will face off against Acadiana Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Flame will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven matchups.
