Jackson Tuttle looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ayden Wells, who went 3-for-4 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Josh Dave, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Eaglecrest kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Columbine by a score of 12-10.

Eaglecrest also got a good showing from Jace Perry, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Braden Elliott was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
