Baseball Recap: Beech Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Beech was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Stewarts Creek Red Hawks by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 12-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Beech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Powell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. TJ Abrams also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Beech now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Stewarts Creek, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.

Beech wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-2 win against Rockvale on the 12th. As for Stewarts Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Northwest on the 13th.
