Staples had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 59-21 win over the Westhill Vikings. With that victory, the Wreckers brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.

Leading Staples to victory were Emma Asiel and Riely Gullans. Asiel posted 13 points, while Gullans earned ten points and eight rebounds. Gullans continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Selig, who put up three points and five boards.

Staples smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Staples' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Westhill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Staples will challenge Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westhill, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Trumbull at 6:00 p.m.
