Volleyball Recap: Normal West Comes Up Short

Normal West was the 2-1 winner over O'Fallon when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

O'Fallon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Clay, who had six digs and four aces. Those six digs gave Clay a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alli Hamm, who had ten assists and seven digs.

Normal West's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for O'Fallon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Coincidentally, Normal West and O'Fallon will both be playing Limestone the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Rockets at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
