Volleyball Game Preview: Sodus Spartans vs. Gananda Central Blue Panthers

Sodus hasn't had much luck against Gananda Central recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Spartans will be playing at home against the Blue Panthers at 6:15 p.m. Sodus will be strutting in after a victory while Gananda Central will be coming in after a defeat.

Sodus will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Williamson, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Marauders on Thursday. The Spartans have beaten the Marauders the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Marauders has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Gananda Central lost 3-0 to East Rochester on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Panthers in their meetings with the Bombers: they've now lost three in a row.

Gananda Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Sodus, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
