Softball Recap: Owen Valley Patriots vs. Edgewood Mustangs
Owen Valley and Edgewood squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Owen Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Edgewood Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Owen Valley of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Thursday.
Owen Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Monroe, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
