Volleyball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

Grant came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Jesuit Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Jesuit was led to victory by Cecily O'Sullivan and Kiana Johnson. O'Sullivan had five aces and four digs, while Johnson had nine digs and four assists.

The loss snapped Grant's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 20-9 record. As for Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jesuit, they will host Oregon City at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
