Volleyball Recap: Ar-We-Va Comes Up Short

Ar-We-Va was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute. The Rockets were not able to make up for their defeat to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Ar-We-Va's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Ar-We-Va wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Boyer Valley on the 20th. As for Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Woodbine on the 20th.
