Basketball Recap: Huss Skates Past Harding University with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huss). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Harding University Rams 76-30. The Huskies have beaten the Rams the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rams has come to flipping the script.

Huss' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shemiah McCoy, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 assists. McCoy is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season. SaRyah McCorkle was another key player, dropping a double-double with 24 points and 16 boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Huss was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Huss' record now sits at 4-0. As for Harding University, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Huss will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ashbrook at 6:30 p.m. The game will give the Huskies their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Harding University, they are taking a road trip to challenge West Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
