Softball Recap: Piedmont Highlanders vs. Acalanes Dons
There's no place like home for Piedmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Acalanes Dons 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Highlanders have posted since March 18th.

Miya Fujimoto made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
