League recap: Hillsdale receives boost in rankings after winning week

Hillsdale went from 709 to 672 in the California state rankings since last week after going 1-0 in the past seven days.
Devin Gilmore was on fire this week, as he led Peninsula - Bay with a .333 average with four RBIs. Meanwhile, the Knights put together a 1-0 week.
Carlmont's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing zero hits and zero walks to lead the league in both categories. The Scots have given up a mere 180 hits on the year, while striking out 109 opposing hitters.
Sean Collins is the leader in that category with 46 Ks on the season.
