Volleyball Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Gets the Win

After losing to Spring Grove the last time they met, Kenyon-Wanamingo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Audrey Haugen paced Kenyon-Wanamingo's offense, picking up five kills. Haugen got some help from Maddyn Alexander and her seven assists. Haugen also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mali Quam, each putting up two.

Kenyon-Wanamingo's record now sits at 13-3. As for Spring Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Kenyon-Wanamingo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Westbrook-Walnut Grove on the 20th. As for Spring Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Pine River-Backus on the 20th.
