Softball Recap: Luck/Frederic Comes Up Short

Luck/Frederic and Shell Lake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Luck/Frederic had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lakers, falling 14-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Otters in their meetings with the Lakers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Luck/Frederic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Carter, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Luck/Frederic's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Shell Lake, they moved to 10-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Luck/Frederic nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
