After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Orangefield, East Chambers was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Evadale Rebels get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

East Chambers is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.8 runs. Evadale dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, East Chambers will be taking part in a tournament against Deweyville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Evadale, they will head out to square off against Danbury at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
