Volleyball Recap: Chatfield Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Chatfield posted their closest victory since September 19th on Saturday. They skirted past the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels 2-1.

Chatfield's offense was headlined by Trindy Barkeim and Cora Bicknese, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Harper Goldsmith and her 24 assists. Barkeim was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Chatfield is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.

Chatfield and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Gophers (ranked 26th) will meet La Crescent (ranked 344th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton will take on East Grand Forks at 7:15 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (46 vs. 139).
