Basketball Recap: Ness City Takes a Loss

Ness City lost against Spearville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ness City Eagles came up short against the Spearville Lancers, falling 57-35. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Ness City lost, don't look at Ashlyn Tillitson. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points.

Ness City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Spearville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Ness City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-28 victory against Chase on the 17th. As for Spearville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-37 loss against Hodgeman County on the 17th.
