After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mater Lakes Academy, Homestead was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Killian Cougars 3-0. The Broncos not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3rd (when they won 3-0).

Homestead walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-19.

Yonel Gonzalez paced Homestead's offense, picking up seven kills. Gonzalez got some help from Fabricio Juarez and his 16 assists. Juarez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Homestead is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Killian, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Homestead has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Coral Gables on the 23rd. As for Killian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Horeb Christian on the 23rd.
