Sayville came out on top against Hampton Bays on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Golden Flashes blew past the Baymen 11-4. The Golden Flashes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Sayville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hampton Bays, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coincidentally, Sayville and Hampton Bays will both be playing Islip the next time they take the field. The Baymen will head out to face the Buccaneers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Flashes will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
