             The Antonian Prep Apaches are taking a road trip to  take on the Alexander Bulldogs  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the  match red-hot, with Antonian Prep sitting on  ten straight  wins and Alexander on 12.
 Antonian Prep had won five straight road games  and  Anna Arceneaux did her part to make it six on Thursday. Antonian Prep was the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over Varsity Opponent thanks in part to  Arceneaux, who  had 11  digs and nine  aces. She has been hot for a while, having  posted ten or more  digs the last 14 times she's  played.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-1,  25-10.
 Antonian Prep relied on the efforts of   Ivy Waclawczyk, who  had 11  digs and two  aces, and   Emily Lahood, who  had ten  digs and two  aces.
 Antonian Prep  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 16  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in three consecutive  contests.
 United typically has all the answers at home, but  on Tuesday Alexander proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of  3-1.
 Alexander had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 26-24,  25-9.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alexander to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Brianna Espinoza, who  had 12  digs and five  aces. Those five  aces gave  Espinoza a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Amari Randez, who  had eight  digs and 16  assists.
 Antonian Prep is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 32-14 record  this season. As for Alexander, their record is now 29-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Saturday's  matchup:  Antonian Prep has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 5.9  aces per game. However, it's not like Alexander struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 5.6. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Antonian Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against Alexander in their previous meeting  back in September, sneaking past  3-2.
