Basketball Recap: North Johnston Skates Past Princeton with Ease

North Johnston's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed past the Princeton Bulldogs to the tune of 44-6. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Leading North Johnston to victory were Emma Sheetz and Amiyah Grimes. Sheetz posted ten points and seven boards, while Grimes put up 12 points and three steals. Those seven rebounds gave Sheetz a new career-high. Kathryn Pitts was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

North Johnston was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Princeton only posted two assists.

North Johnston's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Princeton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.

As of now, neither North Johnston nor Princeton have any future games scheduled.
