Basketball Recap: Aurora East Takes a Loss

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbard South Raiders. The Tomcats were probably out for revenge after losing 54-49 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Aurora East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Glenbard South, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Aurora East has already played their next match, a 58-57 win against Bartlett on the 16th. As for Glenbard South, they will head out to take on Riverside-Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverside-Brookfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Glenbard South surely won't give up without a fight.
