Christ's Church Academy won the last time they faced Cornerstone Classical Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles blew past the Spartans 16-2. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Rylee Dynesius made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ella Springer, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Darby Stubblefield, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Christ's Church Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in nine consecutive contests.

Christ's Church Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Cornerstone Classical Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
