Baseball Recap: John Paul the Great Academy Comes Up Short

John Paul the Great Academy lost against Acadiana Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. John Paul the Great Academy came up short against Acadiana Christian, falling 13-4. The Guardians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andrew Guidry was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of John Paul the Great Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Maximus Stewart, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

John Paul the Great Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Acadiana Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
