Basketball Recap: Benedictine Comes Up Short

Benedictine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees. The matchup marked the Cadets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Benedictine's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for St. Benedict's Prep, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Benedictine will welcome Flint Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Flint Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Benedictine likes a good challenge. As for St. Benedict's Prep, they and Imani Christian Academy will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday without much rest having both just played.
