Volleyball Recap: Aggieland HomeSchool Takes a Loss

If Aggieland HomeSchool was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Nelms last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Klein Collins Tigers on Tuesday. That makes it the first time this season the Panthers have let down their home crowd.

While Aggieland HomeSchool ultimately came up short, they really made Klein Collins work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 16-25, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Aggieland HomeSchool saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luke Hoeschle had 20 digs. Those 20 digs set a new season-high mark for Hoeschle.

Aggieland HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Klein Collins, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Aggieland HomeSchool will square off against rival Willis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Klein Collins is set to challenge their familiar foe Klein Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
