Baseball Recap: Evansville Reitz Comes Up Short

Evansville Reitz came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Southridge Raiders, falling 13-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Evansville Reitz's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Southridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Evansville Reitz didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-4 loss against Evansville North on the 24th. As for Southridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-2 defeat against Evansville Memorial on the 23rd.
