Basketball Game Preview: Ore City Rebels vs. Union Grove Lions

Ore City is 0-10 against Union Grove since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Ore City Rebels will head out to square off against the Union Grove Lions at 6:00 p.m.

Ore City came up short against McLeod on Friday, falling 33-9. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Union Grove took on Linden-Kildare on Friday. Union Grove skirted past Linden-Kildare 30-28. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions who have now won three matches in a row.

Union Grove is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points per game. As for Ore City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-25.

Ore City was taken down by Union Grove 58-13 in their previous meeting back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ore City was down 36-8.
