Softball Recap: Prospect Wins Going Away Against Christopher

Prospect hadn't done well against Christopher recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Prospect was the clear victor by a 12-6 margin over Christopher. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Bella Beltran, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Isa Shields was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Beltran wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Prospect kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. Prospect is a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Prospect's record is now 6-4. As for Christopher, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
