Padua Franciscan benefitted from Konopinski in 11-0 victory
Alayna Konopinski produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Padua Franciscan to the win on Saturday. Konopinski was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit over five innings pitched.
Konopinski's strong effort led Padua Franciscan over Brookside and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Padua Franciscan is 4-0 against Brookside going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
