Basketball Game Preview: Pioneer Titans vs. Salesian Mustangs

The Pioneer Titans will venture away from home to face off against the Salesian Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pioneer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Pioneer's tournament run continued when they took on Rosemead on Saturday. Pioneer put the hurt on Rosemead with a sharp 75-52 win. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Salesian was able to grind out a solid victory over JW North on Monday, taking the game 45-38.

Pioneer's record is now 15-1. As for Salesian, their record is now 9-7.

Pioneer came up short against Salesian in their previous matchup back in November of 2019, falling 40-31. Can Pioneer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
