Basketball Recap: LeFlore Comes Up Short

LeFlore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Vigor Wolves, falling 48-25. While losing is never fun, the Rattlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Wolves are ranked 145th).

LeFlore's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Vigor, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-10.

LeFlore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vigor, they and St. Paul's Episcopal will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Vigor is on a three-game streak of home wins, St. Paul's Episcopal a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
