Volleyball Recap: Belleview Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Belleview Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Estes Park Bobcats. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Belleview Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-33, 25-12, 25-14, 25-13.

Tara Polson paced Belleview Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Polson got some help from Anessa Schanke and her ten assists. Finally, Faith Rosiere kept Belleview Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Estes Park had a senior duo take command as Jade Ertl had 24 digs and four aces and Talia Moore had 13 digs and three aces. Moore has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 11 times she's played.

Belleview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Estes Park, their record is now 11-9.

Belleview Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Gilpin County on the 21st. As for Estes Park, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lyons on the 21st.
