Volleyball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway lost against Billings on September 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Madison Thompson and Adalee Letterman, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Arianna Hughes and her three assists. Allie Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Billings, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Chadwick on the 27th. As for Billings, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Galena on the 27th.
